City Profiles

City Profiles is intended as a practical guide for all those whose business it is to identify trends in urban travel and tourism and plan for future growth. It also looks closely at trends in tourism management, marketing and promotion, as well as the economic impact of urban tourism.

Each issue highlights specific destinations, looking at current trends in urban tourism, including market sources, visitor arrivals, overnights and expenditure. A database of statistics on urban tourism destinations is included in City Profiles and will be expanded month by month, so that individual cities can benchmark their tourism performance against that of their competitors in several different areas.
